In May 2015 our charity embarked on a £2.9million appeal in order to bring cancer care closer to those living in Wiltshire. So far we have raised £1.5 million and we are very grateful to everyone who have supported, but we still need your help to reach our target please. Watch our appeal video above to see how funds will be used and why it's so important to support the appeal. Alternatively, watch Julie's video here.
The money raised will equip a new Radiotherapy Centre, to be built in Swindon on the site at Great Western Hospital.
Cancer is the leading cause of mortality in England, and the incidence of new cancer cases is predicted to rise by 16% over the next 10 years.
Cancer affects one in three of the UK population and kills one in four.
Radiotherapy is a successful treatment for cancer and increasingly important in the management of many cancers.
Your donation will be used to equip the Centre including two linear accelerators, enabling cancer patients from Swindon and Wiltshire to receive radiotherapy locally. To make a donation visit our donate page here.
