Rotary Club of Swindon Online Auction

5 November (2pm) - 21 November (2pm)

The Rotary Club of Swindon is raising money for seven local, national and international charities through an online charity auction hosted by the website JumbleBee, starting at 2pm on Thursday 5 November until 2pm on Saturday 21 November.

There are more than 120 items on offer and there is something for everyone from unforgettable experiences, original artworks and collectable sports memorabilia, to items that make perfect Christmas presents along with pre-loved prized possessions.

For collectors there are original paintings, limited edition prints and framed shirts signed by Don Rogers and John Trollope, plus other items for cricket and rugby fans. For thrill seekers there are private pleasure flights, a helicopter ride, and a pillion ride on the all-electric Zero superbike. You can also have a go at clay shooting; play 4-ball golf; enjoy a morning on the gallops with Alan King Racing; or afternoon tea at Westminster with South Swindon MP, Rt Hon Robert Buckland QC. A host of local pubs and restaurants have donated gift vouchers for meals out. And those who prefer to stay in can choose from a variety of fabulous hampers and cases of fine wines.

Once registered on the Jumblebee website you can place bids, opting to receive notifications by email or text alerts. The auction ends at 2pm on 21 November and winners will receive payment details and must collect their lots from locations in Swindon by Saturday 28 November.

The proceeds will be shared between Brighter Futures (for Swindon’s Great Western Hospital’s A&E department); Swindon Domestic Abuse Support Service; Swindon Open Door; Kids Out; End Polio Now; Edu Fun SA at Diepsloot Combined School in Johannesburg; and Action Through Enterprise (ATE Ghana); whilst 10% of monies will also go to other Rotary charities.

This is a great opportunity to shop early for Christmas and have fun bidding for some fabulous items into the bargain!
