Out Everest -
Our route takes us via the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar through beautiful valleys, dense forests and across glacial rivers before we reach the renowned viewpoint of Kalapatar on the approach to Everest Base Camp. We also have time to explore the colourful and frenetic capital of Kathmandu. Nepal is a country in a league of its own with breathtakingly beautiful scenery, a fascinating culture and friendly people. Meeting the villagers whilst trekking through this landlocked gem of a nation is one the greatest pleasures on this challenge.

Days 1-3: Flight to Kathmandu; time to explore sights
Days 4-6: Fly to Lukla; forested trail through small villages to Sherpa capital of Namche Bazar
Days 7-9: Increasingly impressive mountain vistas as trek along valley to Dingboche
Days 10-13: Trek to Base Camp (5380m) and Kalapatar (5545m) for sunrise views of Everest
Days 14-16: Descend to Lukla via Pengboche and its ancient monastery
Days 17-19: Fly back to Kathmandu, free time to shop and explore; flight home
