Can you help support our Dementia Appeal?
There are so many ways that you can help make a stay in hospital for our dementia patients more comfortable. You could take part in one of our organised activities, create your own, get your work colleagues involved or simply make a donation.

Whatever you decide to do, the money you raise will make a lasting difference to our dementia patients at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Pam told us, 'This appeal is close to my heart, as both my mother and grandmother suffered from dementia. My gran lived with us when I was a teenager, and Mum and Dad came to live with us when my father could no longer support my mum in their own home. We had two very challenging, yet rewarding, years together before Mum died.'
As part of a fundraising initiative by The Rotary Club of Swindon Old Town, Pam decided to support the Brighter Futures Dementia Appeal by running her age in miles (66 miles/107k), within a four-week period.'
'Just over a year ago we lost another family member with early onset dementia and, whilst at the start of the appeal we had two aunts with dementia, sadly, my Auntie Peggy died just before I was due to finish my Rotary challenge. My last and longest run, of 7.5k, was made in her memory the next day.'
