It's easier than you think...
Brighter Futures receives a small number of gifts from wills each year; every amount makes an important difference to our work at Great Western Hospital and community health services across Wiltshire and is received with enormous gratitude.
A simple way to help is by leaving a gift in your will to your favourite charity and to make a further difference to a cause you feel passionate about.
Currently only six out of every hundred people leave a gift in their will.
These kind people are making sure that their favourite charities get much needed support and it's something anyone can do.
A will is a really important document that will ensure your savings and possessions go to the people and causes you care about. Once you have made your will, you can relax and get on with your life knowing that your wishes will be carried out.
If you want to consider leaving a gift to Brighter Futures in your will, no matter how small, it will mean we can continue to enhance those aspects of patient care which are not funded by the NHS at the Great Western Hospital and community health services across Wiltshire for generations to come.
Our focus is currently to raise £2.9million as part of our Radiotherapy appeal in order to bring cancer care closer to those living in Swindon and Wiltshire.
The money raised will equip a new Radiotherapy Centre to be built in Swindon.
This is a once in a generation opportunity to make a huge difference to cancer treatment in Swindon.
With the support of local people we can stop patients from having to travel as an example the 70 mile round trip journey from Swindon every day to Oxford for radiotherapy treatment.
If you choose to give a legacy to the Radiotherapy Appeal your gift will be used to equip the centre with 2 Linear Accelerators which will enable cancer patients from Swindon and Wiltshire to receive radiotherapy locally.
