Be an ambassador for our charity
What will I be doing?
We are urgently looking for volunteers to support Brighter Futures with evening talks and cheque collections. Could you spare a couple of hours a month to attend local community groups? Could you talk about the charity with passion and thank our supports for their donations?
All training for this role will be provided and you team will be there to help along the way. This is a very flexible role and no minimum hours are required. All we ask is that you are reliable and committed. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience within the charity sector.

Be a Hero - Become a collecting tin volunteer
What will I be doing?
Approaching local businesses to find new locations for Radiotherapy Appeal’s collection tins and replacing the tins at regular intervals throughout the year and bringing the full ones back to the fundraising office where they will be counted.
What skills and qualities do I need?
A friendly and confident communicator
Good knowledge of your local area
Ability to work on own initiative
Access to a vehicle or good transport links
What commitment is required?
This flexible role can be carried out at times that suit you. It will probably take around three hours per month to build up and maintain your collection tin network.
Be A Hero - Join a 'Friends' fundraising group
Joining or starting a local Friends of the Hospital fundraising group is a great way to raise money for Brighter Futures and meet people in your local area.
From bucket collections and Cream tea in a box to bake sales and quiz nights, local fundraising groups work together to raise money in their local area and help champion for the Radiotherapy Appeal.
